We have an exciting opportunity for a Private PA to work with & support a household in Knightsbridge.
The family’s longstanding PA is actively seeking a proactive, switched on PA who will work alongside him to manage the day-to-days lives of the principals.
This role requires the PA to travel to Europe & America. When not travelling, the PA will work on a hybrid basis, consisting of working remotely and from the residence in
Knightsbridge.
Personal Assistant Duties:
- Providing full support to the family
- Gatekeeping and being a primary point of contact
- Proactively manage the family diaries, including appointments, meetings, booking restaurants, organising events and family occasions, whilst maintaining flexibility to accommodate changes
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodation, and transportation
- Carry out personal tasks and errands
- Arrange and attend meetings with household staff to discuss schedules, tasks, and any issues, maintaining open communication channels
- Recruit new household staff as needed, including conducting interviews and coordinating onboarding, with a forward-thinking mindset to anticipate staffing needs
- Manage administrative tasks related to household staff
- Create and maintain staff rotas and schedules to ensure adequate coverage, adapting to changing priorities and requirements
- Ensure the smooth running of the residences by overseeing day-to-day operations
- Manage maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs as necessary, liaising with contractors and service providers
- Update household manuals with relevant information and procedures for staff reference
- Maintain inventories of household items and equipment
- Oversee the house for the principal's arrival, including stocking supplies and arranging amenities
- Oversee the close down of the property after the principal's departure, ensuring security and readiness for their return
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Personal Assistant in a private household
- Excellent spoken and written English preferred
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to think on your feet
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to interact with staff and external contacts
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information and confidential matters
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work outside of standard hours when necessary
- Full valid driver's license
- Hands-on approach, forward-thinking mindset, and reliability are essential
- Excellent checkable references
- Flexibility to travel when required
Location: Knightsbridge (hybrid) with travel when required
Working Days/Hours: Full-time, with flexibility to work out of hours when the principals are in residence
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 DOE
Start Date: ASAP – flexible for the right candidate
