My clients are looking for an experienced, switched on, proactive, hands on Estate Manager to oversee their home and other properties in Somerset.
A lovely, dynamic, down to earth family, this role will be linking in directly with both Principals and support staff, but also allows a good deal of autonomy with the scope to just get on with things. Part of the role will be overseeing the end stages of a new build – liaising with Contractors on snagging and further improvements. There are further other renovation projects in the pipeline and also a large area of mostly unused pasture land to oversee.
Candidates must be organised, problem solving and approachable – and have proven experience protecting their clients interests with an eye on cost and timings. We are also looking for someone practical and happy to muck in where needed – be it changing a light bulb to sorting out the media systems.
Mostly working Monday to Friday although with occasional flexibility required. The clients encourage a good work/life balance and look after staff well.
Candidates will be helped with accommodation during a trial period, if relocating from elsewhere in the UK, but must be willing and able to relocate to Somerset.
Must have at least 5 years PROVEN experience working as an Estate Manager for private individuals with experience of project managing builds/renovations. Full clean driving licence. Great refs.
