An exclusive opportunity has arisen within our esteemed Single-Family Office.

 

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Family Office General Counsel to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive administrative, financial, and legal support to the Director and key internal stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation of our family office. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable, as it will greatly benefit communications within our diverse and international team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Corporate Administration:

 

  • Coordinate annual government filings, working closely with international service providers.
  • Facilitate the preparation and organization of semi-annual meetings for director elections and other critical business matters.
  • Schedule and manage additional interim director meetings as required.
  • Accurately document financial decisions and other significant resolutions made by the directors.
  • Record all trust fund movements from underlying companies to the trusts, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Draft resolutions and assemble necessary documentation for establishing bank accounts, engaging with investment managers, and other financial activities.
  • Maintain and update the company's minutes book and other essential corporate records.
  • Liaise with foreign registered offices, ensuring effective communication and record-keeping.
  • Input historical data and documents into designated software programs for each company.
  • Prepare and oversee all bank instructions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a robust document storage and retrieval system, including a comprehensive book of documents.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

  • A Law Degree is a must.
  • Family Office, Tax, and Funds experience is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in corporate administration or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

 

Remuneration will be commensurate with the duties and demands of the role and the experience of the candidate.
