Our clients are requiring a live-in professional Domestic Couple for their large residence in Roehampton.


The proactive Couple will be required to share the day-to-day duties, ensuring the highest standards are delivered.


Duties required, not limited to:


Duties of Housekeeper:

  • Cleaning of the whole house and creating/implementing routines for so doing
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Cleaning all shoes
  • Organising cupboards and implementing efficient storage systems
  • Spring clean of house at least twice a year
  • Packing and unpacking suitcases
  • Cooking healthy meals for lunch
  • Preparing breakfast
  • Dealing with contractors as and when directed
  • Taking receipt of deliveries and putting grocery orders away as necessary
  • Taking messages on the phone as and when necessary
  • Taking care of the children occasionally


In addition, the Employer may require you to help them with shopping for food and other household items, domestic chores, preparing and cooking evening meals, and any other reasonable duties that they may discuss with you from time to time.


Estate Manager/Houseman role:

  • Carry out all planned preventative maintenance on site, including but not limited to proactive and reactive work
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operation of the estate
  • Prepare, present, and manage estate budgets
  • Manage the procurement of estate equipment
  • Manage all maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings and estate grounds
  • Screen and oversee third party contractors and construction projects
  • Renegotiate annual contracts with service providers
  • Carry out general maintenance duties within your capacity
  • Supervise and manage all household staff
  • Deal with repairs where necessary as instructed by the Employer
  • Arrange PAT testing and maintenance of all electrical equipment on site
  • Arrange annual boiler inspection and maintenance
  • Arrange annual maintenance of fire, alarm, and CCTV safety equipment
  • Manage contractors employed for specific purposes, such as building service engineers
  • Detect and report the need for major maintenance and repairs
  • Maintain paths, parking spaces, and outside hard surfaces
  • Regularly check external areas for any potential danger to people on site including family members
  • Carry out daily litter picks, emptying of litter bins and prepare / return containers for collection
  • Assist with deliveries and general porterage duties
  • Oversee estate security
  • Provide housekeeping staff with and implement a regular cleaning schedule
  • Clean the master bedroom suite of the Employer to the highest standard, and support with cleaning duties as and when required
  • Iron Employer’s and Employer’s partner’s clothes
  • Manage Employer’s wardrobe and oversee the management of the family’s wardrobe
  • Pack and unpack suitcases
  • Carry out general driving duties including assisting with daily school drop-offs and pick-ups


Couple requirements:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • There may be a requirement to travel with the family
  • Positive with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Lead a fit & healthy lifestyle
  • Flexible and amenable
  • There is a requirement for the Couple to be fully vaccinated
  • Provide discretion and confidentiality


Accommodation: A bright & beautiful self-contained flat adjacent to the main residence.

Days/Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 12 hours a day

Salary: £75,000-£80,000
