INVESTMENT & FAMILY OFFICE MANAGER

Our client is an Asian Family establishing their Single Family Office in Singapore.

 

Their focus is on global and diversified portfolios across a broad range of asset classes in both public and private markets with a long-term investment horizon.

 

As a an Investment & Family Office Manager the successful candidate will have a solid multi-asset class investment background and experience in strategic asset allocation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategy and Governance:

  • Actively participate in the creation, implementation, and coordination of a comprehensive family financial strategy and investment policy.
  • Develop and oversee the strategic management of the Family Office.
  • Provide oversight of all family assets and the Asset Allocation process.
  • Ensure the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and periodic portfolio reports is accurate and timely.
  • Organize and implement an asset allocation strategy.
  • Lead and supervise the Manager Selection Process and other third party service providers (including Trustees, Lawyers, Accountants and Real Estate Brokers)

 

Investment and Portfolio Management:

  • Develop and execute the Family Office's strategic investment and operational plan.
  • Oversee a diverse investment portfolio across public, private, and alternative markets.
  • Regularly monitor the portfolio using various simulations to assess underlying risks.
  • Supervising internal reports analysing holdings, performance and risk metrics for individual and consolidated portfolios as appropriate
  • Actively source and manage deal flow, oversee investment monitoring, and report on investment outcomes.
  • Identify new opportunities, innovative investment ideas and formulate investment proposals.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence across a wide range of asset classes.
  • Manage relationships with investment managers, brokers and banks
  • Construct and maintain robust financial models for comprehensive valuation analysis.

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Possess recognized financial qualifications from prestigious universities.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience managing portfolios and serving as an allocator and portfolio manager.
  • Experience with cross-asset investments within the financial services industry, with a preference for candidates who have experience in a family office or multi-family office setting.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to undertake various duties and additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing long-term investment strategies.
  • Methodical and consistent in approaching work processes and tasks.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workflows and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent command of both English and Mandarin, with fluency in verbal and written communication.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the duties and demands of the role and the experience of the candidate, circa SGD six figures + attractive package.
