PRIVATE CHEF - TRAVELLING - ROTA

Our HNW client is seeking an experienced, organised, discreet, and reliable Private Chef for rota 1 week on, 1 week off, alternating with Head Chef.

You will work independently cooking and preparing healthy, nutritional meals using fresh produce sourced from local suppliers, and work alongside the Head Chef on creation of menu planning etc. Breakfast (occasionally), lunch and dinner for the family, and also household staff, is required.

Our clients are looking for someone who is passionate about food, who has a desire for healthy living, and experienced in catering for various dietary requirements for occasional guests.

You will will be responsible for overall maintenance and management of all the kitchens when on duty – some family style kitchens, others commercial - including hygiene, cleanliness, Health & Safety etc.

You will have your own car or motorbike to move between their properties in UK. Note, they do spend long stays in one property at a time (public transport not an option).

Hours:

8.30am – 6pm with some flexibility – Rota will vary 1 week on / 1 week off, or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off depending on location, and working on Rota with the Head Chef.

Package / Salary:

£60k gross pa DOE, plus discretionary Annual Bonus, Health Insurance, Company pension, Statutory Entitlements and Petrol Allowance. Accommodation is in staff cottages with own bedroom, nearby B&B or depending on location, return home in the evenings.

Requirements:

Previous experience in HNW private household, or 5* busy hotel kitchen advantageous

Ideally based in London and/or within commutable distance to the South East or West of Central London

Passion for healthy cooking

Proactive self-starter who can work autonomously

Excellent English and communication skills

Checkable and recent references

DBS cleared

Must be able to use own vehicle for work (petrol allowance given)

UK Driving Licence

Must have right to work in UK and be based here already (no overseas applicants need apply)

Ability to trial / start ASAP.
