The Investment Associate is a critical member of the team who will work closely with clients and their investment portfolios. The Investment Associate will source and diligence investment managers and direct investments, evaluate the opportunities, and will ultimately be responsible for making investment recommendations to the investment committee. The Investment Associate will also spend their time advising client families on their overall asset allocation, risk exposures, and portfolio performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth due diligence and prepare investment recommendations for opportunities across asset classes including hedge funds, private equity & private real estate.
• Work alongside the rest of the team and client families to source new investment manager relationships and investment opportunities.
• Advise clients on investment portfolios including asset allocation, risk analysis, liquidity management, and investment selection.
• Prepare quarterly performance reports for clients using the Addepar consolidated reporting platform.
• Lead meetings with general partners, management teams, sponsors, and other relevant professionals to assess and evaluate investment managers and direct investment opportunities.
• Build out the company’s peer network to leverage for sourcing, diligence and collaboration.
• Actively monitor existing investments including but not limited to cash flow management, performance, and underlying portfolio exposures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher. MBA and/or CFA welcomed.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience. Must have either private investment experience or investment manager diligence experience. Client advisory experience is preferred.
• Self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and able to pair and contribute to a strong team.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be discreet and reliable, able to handle and protect highly confidential financial and personal information, internally and externally.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Location: Boulder, Colorado. This is an office based role, but there is flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days a week.

Compensation: $115,000 – $125,000 fixed base salary plus benefits (annual bonus, 85% family medical, unlimited PTO) and more
