FINANCE MANAGER (INVESTMENTS)

An exclusive opportunity has arisen for a Financial Manager position within a Family Office based in Monaco.

 

This is a brand-new role that has been created due to the rapid growth that the Family Office has seen over the last 12 months.

 

The Successful Application:

 

The applicant will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) from a recognized accounting institute with experience in the financial services environment (banking, investments or Family Office). Fluent in English and preferably French.

 

The candidate should be experienced with using accounting systems.


The application should generally have:

  • A good working knowledge of all aspects related to the financial management of investments made by a Family Office including Private Equity, Public investments (equity, absolute return and bonds) and Portfolio Management;
  • Experienced in providing detailed reporting and accounting information relating to such investments (absolute and relative performance, benchmarks, comparator groups etc);
  • Be experienced in preparing Financial Statements, Bank Reconciliation Statements, Cash-flow statements in relation to such investments; and
  • Experienced in Treasury and banking matters and having an understanding of AML/KYC/CRS/FATCA topics specifically for Trust and non-trust structures.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing investment reports for the Head of the Family Office;
  • Actioning decisions made by the Investment Committee – KYC / AML onboarding, completion of subscription agreements;
  • Responsible for all cash management function of entities operating in various jurisdictions and to manage flow of funds to meet capital calls and investment objectives;
  • Responsible to ensure all bank accounts, banking and accounting records are kept up to date and reconciled for multiple-currencies as required;
  • Responsible to take control of banking topics and ensure all documentations aspects (KYC/AML/CRS/FATCA) compliances are maintained and kept up-to date which included performing periodic reviews of banking compliances;
  • Prepare all cash and treasury reporting for the group including roll-over of any term deposits and monitoring of income generated and review of other cash products; and
  • Preparing mark to market valuations for the investments and ad-hoc reports as required.

 

Remuneration will be commensurate with the duties and demands of the role and the experience of the candidate.
