FINANCE MANAGER: SINGLE FAMILY OFFICE

One of our clients, a Single Family Office based in London are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team.

 

The office is part of an investment group which has been trading in property, private equity and other assets both in the UK and worldwide for nearly 70 years.

 

Duties will include:

 

·         Purchase and Sales Ledger

o   Code purchase invoices and enter onto accounting system

o   Generate bank payment runs and liaise with suppliers

o   Maintain purchase ledger files and reconcile supplier statements

o   Produce sales invoices and manage debtor control process

o   Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns

 

·         Cash Accounting

o   Arrange authorisation and process miscellaneous bank transactions

o   Liaise with bank to arrange transactions and resolve queries

o   Monthly reconciliation of bank statements to general ledger

o   Assisting with budget preparation and analysis

 

·         General Ledger Accounting

o   Generate and enter journals for accounting transactions

o   Reconcile General Ledger control accounts

o   Accruals/prepayments and fixed asset reconciliations

 

·         Management Reporting

o   Produce weekly cash report summarising bank balances, receipts and payments

o   Update and maintain cash reports for each contract

o   Preparation of adhoc reports and spreadsheets as required by the Finance Director

o   Assist with month and year end financial reporting requirements. Year/quarter/month end management accounts.

o   Produce consolidation across different subsidiaries.

 

·         Statutory accounts

o   Preparation of annual statutory accounts under GAAP/ IFRS.

o   Assist with preparation of year-end audit schedules

o   Dealing with external auditors on all queries raised during the audit process.

 

·         General

o   Special projects, as needed

o   Assist with general office administration

 

You will ideally be part qualified ACCA/CIMA and have knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software as well as advanced Excel skills.

 

Salary: £35 – 40k
