Our HNW client is seeking a highly experienced, discreet, and reliable Travelling Private Chef to undertake all cooking preparing healthy, nutritional meals using fresh produce sourced from local suppliers.

You will be cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for the family and household staff, and be responsible for planning all menus, along with very occasional dinner parties. The meals will be prepared and left for the staff to help themselves, and will be usually the same meal as prepared for the family, served in their dining room.

Our clients are looking for someone who is passionate about food, who has a desire for healthy living, and experienced in catering for various dietary requirements for guests etc.

The Chef will be responsible for overall maintenance and management of all the kitchens when on duty – some family style kitchens, others commercial - including hygiene, cleanliness, Health & Safety etc.

Hours:  

8.30am – 6pm with some flexibility – Rota will vary 1 week on / 1 week off, or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off depending on location, working the Rota with current Chef.

Package / Salary:

£65k gross pa, plus discretionary Annual Bonus, Health Insurance, Company pension and Statutory Entitlements, and Petrol Allowance. Accommodation is in staff cottages with own bedroom, nearby B&B and/or depending on location, return home in the evenings.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Private Chef preferred, but not essential, with proven longevity in previous roles.
• Experience working in UHNW homes advantageous
• Should be based within a commutable distance in South East or West
• Passion for healthy cooking
• Proactive self-starter who can work autonomously
• Excellent English and communication skills
• DBS-checked
• Car and Driving Licence

Locations vary around the South West and East of Britain, and therefore Chefs living in these regions will only be considered, for ease of travel and accommodation. Start ASAP.
