SECURITY OPERATIONS SUPPORT AND ADMINISTRATION

Location - nr WINDSOR,UK

 

Our private client is seeking support for the Operations and Administration, for their Inhouse and Close Protection Security team, to start ASAP.

 

Working closely with Security Team Leaders (TL’s), reporting to the Security Operations Manager (SOM) and occasional instruction from the Principal, the primary location will be based nr Windsor, with travel to other UK locations and occasional remote working.

 

Duties as follows, but not limited to:

 

  • Support to the creation, maintenance, and implementation of all security policy, plans and operating procedures for the Security Team.
  • Assist in the creation of operational security risk assessments and scenario-based mitigation planning.
  • International journey planning, management, and administration.
  • Develop Operational and Administrative processes and procedures under guidance from the SOM.
  • Provide support to Security Recruitment activity.
  • Develop plans to ensure the company meets regulatory requirements regarding all aspects of security operations.
  • Provide support on the procurement of security equipment and vehicles in coordination with the SOM and the Principal.
  • Working closely with the SOM and undertake routine reporting of all relevant matters.
  • Undertaking the delegated responsibilities shared by the SOM.
  • Oversight and management of Staff Health & Safety Policies, Procedures and Risk Assessments.
  • Suitability / Experience:
  • Ex military / services - Desirable
  • An excellent work record with longevity in previous roles - Essential
  • Experience working in a private office / family environment - Desirable
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Principals - Essential
  • Planning and providing security services outside the UK - Desirable
  • Experience of working with CP teams - Desirable
  • DBS - Mandatory requirement (through company) - Essential
  • Clean and valid UK driving licence - Highly Desirable

 

 Skills & Knowledge:

  • Exceptional communication skills - Essential
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to manage multiple long-term projects simultaneously with a good eye for detail - Highly Desirable
  • Excellent presentation, written and editorial skills with a strong command of Office 365 - Highly desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing, short notice demands - Essential
  • A proactive approach and a willingness to work outside the job specification when required - Essential
  • Exceptional sense of loyalty and discretion – Essential

 

 Hours/Package:

  • Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work ie 8.30am - 6pm
  • Flexibility on working hours necessary
  • Salary £50+ neg DOE
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus, Health Insurance, Company pension and Statutory Entitlements
