We are looking for an excellent Private PA / House Manager to support a high profile family. 


Applicants must be able to handle the day to day running of a family home, from general household admin to event planning, to personal shopping, travel planning and personal correspondence. You will be the face of the family, so it is important that you can be welcoming, helpful and always polite, going that one extra step when required.


Working from the Principal’s home this role requires someone who thinks on their feet, is experienced and collected and not phased by a busy and diverse role. Having the flexibility to travel and work longer hours on occasion is also required


The Principal has a happy, relaxed family home and they would like someone to join them who has a similar attitude whilst at the same time being extremely efficient.  


Hours: Full time

Salary: Dependent upon experience

Start Date: ASAP

Interviewing: ASAP

Driver: Full and Clean Driving licence required


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Taking care of all private matters
  • Diary management for both personal and business affairs
  • Booking all private and business appointments, arranging meetings
  • Handling confidential matters, this role includes taking responsibility for scheduling calendars, both private and business, arranging public appearances (approved beforehand via management) securing travel arrangements and maintaining itineraries

  • Keeping Contacts and Calendar up to date
  • Setting up and keeping track of accounts, insurance, medical, invoices etc
  • Running personal and household errands
  • Personal shopping / gifts
  • Organising travel, US and International
  • Household management including administration, supervision of other household staff
  • Organising household maintenance
  • Providing day to day support for the family
  • Handling specific projects e.g. events.
  • Overseeing management of primary residence, liaising with staff at other properties
  • Personal Shopping
  • Arranging and liaising with contractors and other external suppliers
  • Household Purchasing, to include food shopping
  • Personal correspondence
  • Event planning
  • Managing expenses / budgeting and liaising with accountant
  • Liaison with management company
  • Liaison with family members and other personal contacts


Candidates must be / have:

  • Proven longevity in similar roles
  • Experience minimum 3-5 years
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Ability to use initiative and work alone
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Understanding of the importance of discretion in the role
  • Strong working knowledge of Mac IOS
  • Tech-minded – setting up printers, linking laptops, tablets and phones etc
  • Full and clean driver’s license
  • Resilient and able to juggle
  • Flexible with their time when required
  • Willing to travel when required
  • Exceptionally organised

  • Happy to work on their own

  • Flexible in their approach

  • Well presented

  • Proactive and able to take initiative
