Our client, an International couple, with properties in London, NYC, and The Hamptons are seeking a Daily Chef who can travel, and free with no ties (a Live in Chef can also be accommodated, whereby there is a 2 bedroom flat on the property, but one room may at times, may be given to other staff members when there are late finishes).
The Chef is required for simple, healthy lunches and dinners, along with some semi-formal entertaining/dinner parties for up to 10 persons (the HK’s cover the breakfast). It is a 5 day week, however can’t guarantee 2 consecutive days off each week, as the Chef has to work in with this busy Couples social calendar – however for example they may go away for 4 days, and then you can take your days off, or they may travel for a couple of weeks, and you won't have to work. Full flexibility needed.
This person must also be able to spend up to 10 weeks over the summer, in the Hamptons. They entertain regularly, sometimes up to 20 persons, light casual lunches, formal dinner parties, fun bbqs, canapé & cocktail parties, or just dinner for the two Principles, hence it will most likely be 6 days per week over that busy period, and down-time given off at the end to recharge. Fully staffed property.
No red meat, chicken and fish only, fresh, healthy and innovative food using the very best organic ingredients only. Presentation very important. The client would like to see 5* leading restaurant experience, coupled with Private Chef experience working for the highest level of clients, cooking with quality food and relationship with, and knowledge of, top local suppliers. Must have proven experience in private households, and checkable references. Role is to start mid January 2018. Salary £55,000 - £70,000 gross pa DOE.
