Location - WEST LONDON, UK


Our private client is looking to recruit a full time permanent multiple property manager for a role based in London.


Looking predominently after the main property in Belgravia, the successful candidate will also be responsible for the general upkeep of another few properties, mostly in West London as well as liaising with all properties with regards to the family's movements.


Job Specification - Butler/Household Manager


Responsibilities and duties

  • Ensuring the smooth running of 8 households in London (predominately based at the Principal's household)

  • Ensuring that the household is ready and prepped for the Principal's arrival, often at short notice

  • Engaging and overseeing outside contractors, service providers and suppliers as well as liaising with Pilots, Yacht staff and PAs to ensure everyone is "in the loop"

  • Overseeing household staff including housekeepers, gardeners, florists, etc.

  • Liaising with Chefs to ensure that all supplies are ordered in good time

  • Ensuring that equipment (tennis rackets, golf clubs, shooting attire) are all in the right place at the right time according to the Principal's schedule

  • Writing of household manuals and policy documents

  • Managing all utility bills, council tax, parking permits and household accounts

  • Overseeing of property renovations

  • Organisation of closets and wardrobe management, to the Principal's requirements

  • Maintenance of the property and facilities management on a regular basis

  • Maintaining security and communication systems and record keeping

  • Regularly interacting with owners to maintain direct communication and compliance with their needs

  • Ensuring efficiency, harmony, and high morale throughout the household

  • Silver service of refreshments, wines and meals


    Qualifications and skills

  • Experience in household and property/project management and residential service

  • Experience managing more the 1 property

  • Knowledge of etiquette and protocol

  • Experience of formal service of fine wines and food

  • Ability to represent the household

  • Eye for detail

  • Ability to anticipate others' wishes and adapt accordingly

  • Experience in delivery of a discreet, confidential and unobtrusive service

  • Team player, reliable and flexible

  • Keen to muck in as part of a close-knit team supporting in a family environment

  • Immaculately presented at all times


    You will be required to stay at the Principal's residence when he is in London. During these times, accommodation is provided. This role requires complete flexibility as plans change often, and at short notice. 24/7 role when the Principal is in London.


    Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
