Our UHNW client is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and hands-on House Manager for their stunning residence in Surrey.

Due to cultural reasons, this role is only available for female candidates.

The 9-bedroom residence near Godalming, sits on grounds of about 30 acres. There is a substantial main house with leisure/spa facilities, indoor/outdoor pool, and ancillary staff accommodation - totalling some 28,000 sq ft.

The property is modern but built in the traditional Georgian style to a high specification, including quality fittings, and hard and soft finishes throughout.

Occupation of the property will vary, but broadly the female principal will visit twice yearly for up to 12 weeks. Whilst the property is not occupied, the House Manager and their team will be scheduled to work 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm or 9.00am-6.00pm. However, when the family are in residence, staff should also expect to work longer hours and shifts on weekends and public holidays. It is also expected that the House Manager remains in contact (via work mobile/email).

Staffing: It is envisaged there will be 2 full-time Housekeepers, Houseman, along with residential Security and Gardeners. A personal team travel with the family.

Note: Due to the rural nature of the property, applicants will need to drive and have their own car.

Order of Authority

• The House Manager will report directly to the Client's managing agent
• The House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the staff and associated staff/contractors
• Recruitment of temporary/contract staff is also sometimes required

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience as a House Manager
• 5* Hotel experience would be desirable
• Non-smoker preferred
• Current DBS
• Driver (due to rural location)
• Good spoken English preferred

Salary: £60,000
