This job is working for a single private family office based in Victoria supporting the Finance Director as a Finance Administrator.


The ideal candidate will have a solid track record (longevity in previous roles is essential) with excellent bookkeeping skills and an understanding of the preparation of financial accounts (you are not actually preparing them as this is done by the accountants) and with experience in perhaps investment firms or private equity experience.


You will be a key member of the busy team working alongside the rest of the finance team and the role will include registering companies and information with Companies House, liaison with HMRC and Fund administrators to provide necessary documentation and completing KYC for the multiple assets.


The Principal oversees a wide range of investments and activities and owns multiple properties as well as holding over 30 companies and this portfolio continues to expand. This is a role which moves at pace. Due to an increase in activity across the business and with new investments and activities being expanded across the family office this is a brand new and exciting role which has been created to increase their existing team of around 10.


The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the responsibility for managing service providers and staff support/recruitment as well as overseeing the office (set over two beautiful town houses near Buckingham Palace). In addition, you will have excellent knowledge of MS Office and use Xero as you will help in assisting with book-keeping and helping to prepare the accounts and tax returns (data collection).

As the family office invests in a wide array of quoted investments and funds worldwide including properties you will help complete KYC documentation as well as liaise with fund managers and banks.


This is a fantastic office and a real opportunity to join a well-established team and really add value.  You will need to demonstrate a proven track record within ideally a finance/investment environment or family office, but aptitude and excellent financial knowledge and experience would also suffice across other sectors. Very normal office hours 9-5.30pm and fully office based.


SALARY: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
