Our client is a multi-billion dollar, FCA regulated, single family office investing across a mix of assets, including financial investments, real estate, private equity and debt.

 

A growing family office supported by a strong operational business providing regular cash inflows.

 

They are looking to hire a Senior Bookkeeper into their team in London.

 

Reporting to the Senior Family Office Accountant, the role will be one of a team of 4 preparing the accounting for over 50 companies within the family office business. 

 

The role will have full responsibility for certain companies to balance sheet, joint responsibilities across larger companies and cross cover of work.

  • Overview and support to AP, AR and treasury functions
  • Maintaining intragroup and third party loans
  • Full monthly closing process and review
  • VAT returns
  • Quarterly and annual reporting to financial accounting team and auditors
  • Accounting under IFRS, US & Luxembourg GAAP
  • Assistance with budgets and cost reporting
  • Ad-hoc tasks and support

 

Systems:

  • SAP (knowledge preferred)
  • MS Office

 

Skills:

  • An excellent understanding of the fundamentals of accounting, bookkeeping and cash management
  • Organised, self-motivated with an ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Qualified by exams and/or relevant experience.
  • Flexible and a willingness to learn new skills as part of a growing business.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

 

Salary: Up to £40k depending on experience
