PA to high profile make-up artist / Founder of Beauty Brand NYC.

 

Fantastic opportunity to support a world-renowned Makeup Artist and Founder of her eponymous Beauty Brand with all her business and private affairs. 

 

This is an all-encompassing ‘right hand’ role working from Principal’s office in Greenwich Village, on-set and accompanying her on all work trips, predominately back and forth to Europe – candidates must be free to travel at short notice and work long hours.  A background in the Beauty and/or the Fashion industries would be highly beneficial and all applicants must have proven discretion and be comfortable working amongst high profile celebrities.

 

Hours: Full Time and on-call 24/7

Location: New York, with frequent international travel

Salary: TBC

Start Date: ASAP

Interviewing: ASAP

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Constant liaison between the Principal, the Chief of Staff (COS) and agent.
  • Diary management in conjunction with COS, ensuring that the Principal is constantly aware of her schedule and prepared accordingly
  • Managing correspondence

  • Produce call-sheets
  • Book all personal appointments
  • Business and Private travel
  • Managing expenses / budgeting and liaising with accountant

  • Management of the home and private administration

  • Liaison with family members and other personal contacts

  • Researching projects

  • Personal shopping and gifting
  • Errand running

 

Candidates must be / have:

  • Highly organized, efficient and detail oriented
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize ever-changing / last minute schedules 
  • Based in NYC or able to relocate at short notice and able to travel extensively and at short notice
  • Proven to be trustworthy and discreet 

  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Able to work autonomously as well as working well within a team
  • Previous experience in the Beauty and/or Fashion industry would be beneficial but not essential
  • Experienced providing private support to high profile individuals
  • 5 years’ experience as a personal assistant
  • High level of technical ability
  • Highly IT proficient
  • Languages are ideally required, French and / or Spanish
  • Detail orientated and meticulous
  • Confident and efficient with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Enthusiastic and proactive
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Upbeat personality with a good sense of humour
