Our client is a young and entrepreneurial Single Family Office investing globally across private markets. They pursue direct investments and fund commitments in real assets, credit, private equity, and venture capital, with a hands-on and analytical approach. Their investment philosophy is flexible, opportunistic, and grounded in disciplined underwriting and long-term value creation.

 

Role Purpose

The Investment Associate – Real Assets & Credit will support the underwriting, execution, and monitoring of investments in real estate, infrastructure, and private credit. This role combines rigorous financial analysis with the opportunity to work across the full investment lifecycle in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. This role reports to the CIO.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate opportunities in real estate, infrastructure, and private credit through fund commitments, co-investments, and direct transactions.
  • Lead internal investment analysis: market research, operational assessment, sensitivity analysis, and scenario work.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the CIO.
  • Support due diligence processes.
  • Assist in structuring, negotiation support, and transaction execution.
  • Perform ongoing portfolio monitoring, covenant tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Contribute to building internal investment frameworks and best practices as the organization scales.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4–7 years of experience in real estate private equity, infrastructure investing, private credit, investment banking, or a related field.
  • Strong underwriting ability for both asset-backed and cash-flow-based transactions.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills and familiarity with transaction structuring.
  • Experience working on full deal cycles is preferred.
  • Global perspective and comfort evaluating cross-border transactions.
