Our client is a young and entrepreneurial Single Family Office investing globally across private markets. They pursue direct investments and fund commitments in real assets, credit, private equity, and venture capital, with a hands-on and analytical approach. Their investment philosophy is flexible, opportunistic, and grounded in disciplined underwriting and long-term value creation.

Role Purpose

The Investment Associate – Equity & Venture Capital will be responsible for evaluating and executing fund commitments, co-investments, and direct equity transactions across private equity and venture capital. The role offers significant exposure, autonomy, and full lifecycle involvement from sourcing to portfolio monitoring. This role reports to the CIO.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate PE and VC fund opportunities globally, including GP assessment, strategy review, and track-record analytics.
• Source, assess, and underwrite direct equity and co-investment opportunities (growth, buyout, minority stakes).
• Analyze valuation models (LBO, growth equity, venture stage) and perform sensitivity analyses.
• Lead market research, competitive landscape studies, and thematic analysis.
• Draft high-quality investment memoranda for the CIO and Founder.
• Support due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, and operational workstreams.
• Participate in deal structuring, negotiations, and documentation support.
• Monitor portfolio companies and fund relationships; prepare ongoing reports and
• performance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4–7 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or top-tier consulting with exposure to PE/VC transactions.
• Valuation and modelling capabilities (LBO, cap tables, growth modeling).
• Experience with due diligence, deal execution, and investment memos.
• Ability to analyze both early-stage and mature businesses; comfort with global mandates.
