A London-based Family Office with varied interests is looking for a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Chief Accounting Officer.


Due to increasing growth and complexity of the group, they are looking for a well-qualified and experienced Chief Accounting Officer to join and support the existing finance team and help manage and guide the financial activities.


The role will be extremely varied and dynamic and involve managing high level budgets/expenditure and cost controls (internationally). You will also have to have a good understanding of taxes.


This will be an extremely busy and fast-paced Family Office. The successful candidate will likely have previous Family Office experience and thus understand the need to be flexible (both in range of duties and working hours), autonomous, and hard working.

 

Responsibilities likely to include:

  • Project management support across corporate and personal activities
  • Analysing and monitoring costs and expenditure across all projects and entities
  • Development and maintenance of robust, efficient, relevant, and intuitive financial systems
  • Financial, cash flow, P&L, and balance sheets
  • Development of annual budgets
  • Personal and corporation tax advice, and reporting
  • Engagement with professional advisers as required
  • Producing and presenting on management accounts
  • Regulatory reporting, including regulatory capital analysis

 

The successful candidate will be a crucial part of a small and focussed team. The following are considered to be essential:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience of developing and maintaining financial analyses
  • Excellent spread-sheeting skills
  • Extensive management and statutory accounts experience
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of personal integrity and discretion
  • Enquiring mind
  • Self-motivating and solutions driven
  • Flexible, professional, and personable
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to successfully communicate with people at all levels within and outside of the organisation

 

The role will involve working in a luxurious high spec west London based office 5 days a week.

 

Remuneration will be commensurate with the duties and demands of the role and the experience of the candidate.
