Reports to: Head of the Family Office

 

A newly established Family Office is looking for C-Suite staffs. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join a high-growth environment and make an impact. The CFO will oversee the financial, operational, and drive efficiencies for the family office. This includes fiduciary responsibilities such as serving as a company director or trustee and coordinating key governance activities. The role also encompasses oversight of the family’s global real estate portfolio and financial investments, ensuring consolidated reporting and providing in-depth financial and investment analysis to support decision-making and long-term wealth preservation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Financial Oversight:

  • Collaborate with investment teams to evaluate and optimize global real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and developments.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis of investment opportunities and monitor portfolio and investment performance.

Consolidated Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present comprehensive, consolidated financial reports covering all entities, trusts, and asset classes.
  • Develop dashboards and visualisations to provide clear insights into portfolio performance and financial health.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to family members, trustees, family office leadership and other stakeholders.

Financial Planning & Investment Analysis:

  • Conduct financial modelling and sensitivity analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Analyse macroeconomic trends and market data to inform investment strategy.

Liquidity & Cash Flow Management:

  • Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow, capital allocation, and financing strategies.
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs, investments, and family distributions.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Develop risk management strategies for investments and operational processes.
  • Monitor fiduciary and operational compliance across jurisdictions.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Manage and mentor internal finance and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with property managers, investment advisors, and consultants to execute strategic initiatives.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the family office's long-term strategic direction by identifying new investment opportunities and optimizing existing portfolios and investments.
  • Develop operational strategies to enhance efficiency and scalability including various systems and processes.
  • Strategic direction of tech stack of the family office to drive operational efficiencies and manage risks.

Relationship Management:

  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions, investment managers, real estate partners, accounting firms, tax advisors, law firms, and other professional advisors.
  • Serve as the point of contact for family members regarding financial and operational matters.
